Cobweb supply a range of modems with these services…
  • Single User Modem – connects via USB to a PC
  • Multi-user Modem/Router –this modem type allows up to 4 PCs to be connected via Ethernet cables
  • Multi-user Wireless LAN Modem/Router – this modem types allows up to 4 PCs to be connected via Ethernet cables and many more via Wireless LAN (802.11) connections
All modems are supplied with micro filter, Data cabling for 1 PC, Driver software and User manual.
Services can be supplied as ‘wires only’, allowing you to use an existing ADSL Modem/Router
 

Service Set-up

The costs for Cobweb Business Broadband services are made up of 4 elements.
  • One-off Activation Fee, payable with the first month’s service – unless otherwise stated
  • One-off Modem Fee, payable with the first month’s service – unless otherwise stated
  • Monthly recurring Service Access Fee, payable in advance
  • Line Re-grade Fee – only applicable if changes are later required to the service level

Minimum PC Specification:
  • Pentium 200Mhz, 32 MB RAM
  • Four speed CD-Rom player (for USB Modem Only)
  • Video card capable of 800 x 600, 256 colours
  • 150Mb free hard disk space (for USB Modem Only)
  • Windows ME, 2000 Professional or XP. .
  • Apple Macs are compatible with Business Broadband but are not supported with this service
  • USB Port for USB Modem
  • Ethernet RJ45 Port for ADSL Router Modems
