Cobweb Hosted Exchange
on your Mac with Snow Leopard...
Until very recently integration with Microsoft
Exchange server for Mac users has always posed a bit of a problem.
That is until now!
Apple’s latest version of the OS X operating system, Snow
Leopard, has brought us full Exchange features and benefits using
the native applications.
Now with Snow Leopard, the Mac has out-of-the-box support for
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and beyond, something even Windows
PCs don't have.
Instead of just using Entourage...you can now use mail to
access Exchange services such as email, calendar invitations, and
global address lists, you’ll use Mail, iCal, and Address Book so
now Mac users can stick to the apps they love.
Address Book in Mac OS X gives you a flexible and convenient
place to store contact information for your family, friends, and
colleagues.
Now, with Exchange support, it also taps into
your company’s global address lists. So you can create groups and
Smart Groups with contacts from your local list or an
Exchange-based list.
You can click an address to open Google Maps
or click a URL to open a web browser.
Address Book information is fully integrated with other Mac OS X
applications, Mail and iCal use your contact information to
auto-complete names when you’re sending email or invitations.
Cobweb welcomes Apples decision to support
Microsoft Exchange as this has opened up true business
collaboration and working to a great platform.
