Cobweb have been awarded the ISO14001 accreditation. This
is an environmental standard that demonstrates our commitment to
reducing waste and helping the
environment.

What does this mean to you, our customers?
If
you are as passionate as us about the environment then you can have
the peace of mind that Cobweb is doing it best to minimise its
Carbon footprint, and are always thinking of new ways to accomplish
this. We are also helping other Companies go green and
minimising their impact on our environment by reducing their
reliance on in house IT systems.
Ways in which we have successfully achieved this accreditation
and will continue to build on, include:
• Replacing lights with LED lights
• Recycling bins throughout the office
• Recycling old mobile phones
• Training all staff within our company to promote
environmental awareness
• Supporting our local charity The Rainbow Centre
• Dual Flush systems
• Reducing our paper usage significantly
• Changing our paper supply to recycled paper
• An internal system to ensure staff switch off their PC’s at
night
• Complying with all applicable legal requirements

The Green Team
At Cobweb we have set objectives and targets for the continual
improvement of the ISO14001 system and will always be looking for
new ways to achieve this. We have a dedicated Green Team, who
meets regularly to discuss ways that we can improve within the
office, and at home, to cause the least amount of negative impact
on our ecological environment. If you have any
